A. Minimum graduation credits:
　 Graduation credits: 18.0 credits
　 Professional Required: 7.0 credits
　 Professional elective: 11.0 credits
B. Important regulations:

1. Starting from the second semester of the 114th academic year, the minimum number of credits required for graduation is 18, including 7 credits of required professional courses and 11 credits of elective professional courses. This requirement applies to students admitted in the 114th academic year.
2. The 7 credits of required professional courses include “Research Methods in Chinese Language Teaching “ (3 credits) and “Thesis Study” (4 credits). Among the 11 credits of professional electives, students are required to take at least one course in the category of "Linguistic and Cultural Foundations".
3. The maximum credit load is 10 credits per semester.
4. Students must complete the "Thesis Study" course 4 times, for a total of 4 credits, before graduation. Additional credits earned beyond this will not be counted, and students may only take one "Thesis Study" course per semester.
5. For courses not offered by the Program, students may, as needed for their research, enroll in relevant Master’s programs (excluding executive master’s programs) or Doctoral programs within or outside the University. Courses completed with a passing grade of 70 or above, and whose credits are not counted toward other graduation requirements, may be applied for recognition as professional elective credits of the Program. However, the total number of credits recognized from interdepartmental or inter-university courses shall not exceed six (6) credits, and prior approval from the Program is required.
6. In accordance with the University's Guidelines for the Implementation of Academic Research Ethics Education Courses, students in this program are required to complete the “Academic Research Ethics Education Course” by the end of their first academic year and pass the online assessment. Those who fail must retake and complete the course before applying for the degree examination. Students who have not completed this course shall not be eligible to apply for the degree examination. Students who provide proof of having completed the course during their master’s program may apply for exemption.
